Evolve is a growth game about starting small and ending up enormous. You begin as a helpless speck in a hostile world and finish, if you manage your choices, as something the rest of the food chain runs from.

About Evolve

Move around the arena eating resources and smaller creatures to gain growth points. Spend those points on traits — speed, armor, jaws, senses — and each unlock changes how you survive the next biome. Bigger isn’t automatically safer: new areas bring predators sized to put you back in your place.

Progress is steady and visible. Your creature physically changes as traits come online, which makes every upgrade feel earned rather than numeric.

How to Play

Steer with the mouse or arrow keys and run into food to collect it. Open the evolution menu to spend growth points on new traits. Survive each environment long enough to reach the next tier of the food chain.

Tips

• Speed and senses early prevent a lot of deaths. Armor can wait.
• Don’t skip the cheap traits — small bonuses compound fast.
• When a new area opens, scout before hunting. Everything there is bigger than you at first.
