About Candy Crush
Each level gives you a limited number of moves and a goal — clear a target score, strip away jelly, drop ingredients to the bottom or break blockers that will not stay dead. You swap adjacent candies to make matches of three or more; cleared sweets let new ones fall, and those falls can trigger chain reactions that do half the work for you.
Special candies are where the depth hides. Match four in a line and you get a striped candy that clears a whole row or column. Match an L or T and you get a wrapped explosion. Match five and the color bomb clears every candy of one hue — and combining two specials multiplies their effects. The levels look like luck until you learn to set up the specials instead of taking the obvious match.
How to Play
Swap two neighboring candies by clicking one and then the adjacent one, or by dragging on touch screens. Matches of three or more clear and score. Build striped, wrapped and color bomb specials by matching four, L-shapes or five in a row, then combine them for bigger clears. Each level has a move limit and an objective shown at the start; meet it before the moves run out to pass. Striped candies fire in the direction of the match that created them, so plan the orientation before you swap.
Tips
- Look for special-candy setups before obvious threes; one color bomb combo can clear half a board.
- Work from the bottom when you can — cascades from falling candies tend to trigger themselves.
- Save your limited boosters for levels with tight move counts or stubborn blockers, not early cake walks.
